Paeonia lactiflora 'Flame' - Large Flowered Herbaceous Peony

Paeonia lactiflora 'Flame' is a medium sized Peony that produces bright red, single flowers, with an orange flame-like effect in the petals. It will grace any garden and will increase in size to provide more stems with the bold beautiful blooms over the years to come.
Renowned for their beauty, Peonies are highly sought after plants that also make one of the best cut flowers going. 'Flame' has the added benefit of a light fragrance too.
If planted on a sandy soil the flower will be a coral pink. Great for the border, but also for large barrel type planter, it will reach around 80-90cms high and wide in a nice rich, moist, well-drained soil in sun. Supplied in approx 3-4 litre containers.
