Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora 'Babylon' - Giant Montbretia

We call this Crocosmia 'Giant', because it is the daddy in terms of flower size out of all the varieties we grow. The flowers a large, lily shaped, and mango-orange with a deeper throat. The flower stems reach upto 60cms tall and rise above smart green, stiff, sword-like foliage. Blooms appear from mid to late summer, making this an excellent addition to the perennial border or in flower beds. Plant in groups of 5 or more for a really intense colour impact. This variety also grows well in containers and provides long lasting cut flowers for the home. Supplied in approx 1 litre containers.
