Papaver orientale Patty's Plum - Oriental Poppy

This popular cultivar features thin-stemmed flowers in a wonderful shade of aubergine-plum. Coarsely hairy, stiff-stemmed plants with long, deeply-lobed leaves. Prefers full sun or partial shade and well-drained fertile soil. Prevent wet soil conditions in winter. Mulch the first winter after planting. Spectacular and eye catching border plants. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
