Lobelia cardinalis Russian Princess

This elegant perennial is topped with long racemes of pretty purple-red flowers, above upright clumping stems of smooth, red-tinged, lance-shaped foliage. Sun to partial shade in rich, moist, peaty, well-drained soil. It performs best if well-mulched with protection from cold, wet winters. Nice plant for the border. Supplied in 2-3 litre containers.
