Ophiopogon japonicus variegata Silver Mist - Silver Mist Mondo Grass

Silver Mist Mondo Grass is an amazing evergreen related to the popular Black Ophiopogon that is highly popular with gardeners and designers alike.

Tough and easy to grow, Mondo Grass forms compact mounds of grass-like, white and green variegated leaves, it is pest and disease resistant, low maintenance and grows in most soil types with ease. Tiny spikes of pale lavender flowers appear in late summer in to Autumn.

Ornamental Grasses not only look beautiful, but are perfect for adding colour, height, and movement to your garden. Silver Mist Mondo Grass is an excellent companion plant with contrasting foliage, the narrow strappy leaves variegated with creamy-white and deep green stripes look great all year round. Fantastic in containers, or as a front of border plant, especially when contrasted with broad dark leaves of Heucheras, or complimented with a silver Senecio Angels Wings. They also look amazing combined with other ornamental grasses too.
