Nepeta Dropmore - Cat Mint
Availability: Out of stock
A Canadian hybrid, this has been bred to withstand harsh conditions, being both drought tolerant in summer months and extremely cold hardy.
Similar o the well known Six Hills Giant, Dropmore will form plants form more compact plants that are low bushy and mound forming, a mass of fragrant grey-green leaves, covered in clusters of bright blue flowers for weeks on end.
These are fantastic for edging a sunny herbaceous border, or perhaps at the edge of water, they're even great in patio tubs and containers. The plants benefit from a light clipping after the first flush of flowers in June is over, to help keep them compact and bushy, but other than that they are virtually maintenance free. Supplied in approx 3 litre containers.
