Pinus mugo - Dwarf Mountain Pine

Product ref: N10916

Availability: Out of stock

Mugo pine is native to the mountains of Central and Southern Europe and its biggest contribution to gardening and the landscape industry has been as a dwarf. Some mugos reach 80 feet tall in the wild, but it's the smaller selections that grow less than four feet tall that are most valuable. This variety has dark green needles that can change to light green or almost yellow in winter, but it is extremely slow growing. We have selected a plant, which is ideal for use in an oriental style garden, near water, or simply as a focal point on the patio. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
