Miscanthus sinensis Little Zebra - LARGE

This compact perennial grass has dark green, arching leaves with yellow stripes, hence ‘Little Zebra’. Miscanthus grasses make a great, unique addition to any garden. Not only does it have interesting foliage, but it also provides a splash of colour with reddish-purple flowers in the late summer, which last until early autumn.

This is a versatile plant and will grow in any type of moist, well-drained soil. It will thrive in full sun.  Ornamental grasses have become a favourite of garden designers who value them for the foliage and ability to contrast with flowering perennials.  Try planting in drifts to create a garden of drama.
