A crabapple tree is a gorgeous addition to any outdoor space and Malus Golden Hortnet is no exception with its delicate foliage and stunning golden apples through the autumn and winter.
Given the right conditions and space to grow, this tree can grow up to 10 metres tall and 8 metres wide. however, you can easily maintain it at a much smaller size with pruning.
Golden Hornet trees will grow happily in any type of soil but prefer it to be moist and well-drained. They love full sun or partial shade and don’t mind whether they are more sheltered or exposed. They appreciate some light pruning in late winter or early spring.
