Magnolia grandiflora Little Gem - Bull Bay Tree - Compact Evergreen Standard Magnolia - 120-150cms
Availability: In stock
This Magnolia is one of the most impressive evergreens available. Forming a tree with leathery, dark green, glossy leaves with a rusty colouration underneath it is perfect to grow as a large wall shrub or magnificent specimen tree.
Little Gem is a compact growing form of the favourite evergreen Magnolia grandiflora, making it ideal for smaller as well as larger gardens. In late summer and early autumn, very large, intensely fragrant, creamy white blooms are produced at the end of the shoots and it is at this time that they are simply outstanding in any garden - a valuable and easy evergreen. The dark green leaves that have an attractive rust coloured underside are a great feature in their own right as the plant matures.
This tree has been trained to have a clear truck and is now forming a head of branches. Supplied in approx 10 litre containers at around 120-150cm tall overall height.
