Lysimachia punctata

Known by most as dotted loosestrife, Lysimachia punctata is a sturdy and prolific perennial that produces a vibrant display of cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers. During early to mid-summer, these blooms are densely packed along upright, green stalks, creating an eye-catching pop of colour. The plant is a great option for filling in vast areas, cottage gardens, and wildflower meadows because it grows quickly and reaches a height of 60 to 90 cm.

Plant Lysimachia punctata in well-drained, moist soil in full sun to light shade. It is an excellent choice for planting by water or in damp borders because it does exceptionally well in moist environments. Even though it spreads quickly and can be invasive in some environments, it can be managed by planting in small spaces.
