Lonicera japonica Chinensis - Japanese Honeysuckle - Large

‘Chinensis’ is an amazing Japanese Honeysuckle giving you stunning summer fragrance and colour. It is a vigorous semi-evergreen climber that blooms from early summer to early autumn and produces masses of fragrant tubular, pink, white, and yellow blooms. For most of the year it has beautiful mid-green leaves with prominent red veins that add another element of interest to this climber.

As a compact prolific flowering climber, it looks great when grown across an arch or boundary wall and can provide a good screen between borders or paths. An easy-going plant ‘Chinensis’ can thrive in any soil type as long as it is moist and well drained. Make sure you plant this in a bright sunny area and shelter it from cold winds.
