Lobelia Trailing Fountain Dark Blue Sapphire

Its vivid, deep blue blossoms have a striking aesthetic effect, particularly when arranged as a ground cover or in hanging baskets or containers. From early summer until the first frost, the trailing lobelia's small, jewel-toned blue flowers cascade down in a fountain-like display that is sure to please.

'Trailing Fountain Dark Blue Sapphire' grows best in cooler areas and likes well-drained, wet soil. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. Because lobelia is sensitive to both drying out and too much moisture, it is imperative to keep the soil constantly moist but not soggy. Throughout the growing season, giving your plant a regular feeding every few weeks with a liquid fertiliser strong in potassium will promote additional blooms and keep it healthy.
