This French Lavender is a show stopper. Carrying spikes of the bluey purple flowers with a head of purest clear white blooms, shaped as butterfly-like tufts, this plant can really make a striking feature, and highlight dotted amongst other plants in the summer garden.

Like other French Lavenders, it flowers earlier than the choice English varieties, yet still retains aromatic silvery grey-green foliage. Combined with the dark blue Hidcote English lavender, this French cousin can really highlight the colours and extend the period of interest with it's earlier time of coming in to bloom. It is also fantastic displayed in a generous planter and combined with other foliage plants and foliage.

Flowers of all lavenders are a real magnet for bees and butterflies, and other beneficial insects too, so it's always worth having some in the garden. Why not try this compact white French lavender as an attractive, fragrant edging for a sunny border?

This rarer and hard to find variety is supplied as well established bushy plants in approx. 2-3 litre containers, full of buds and flowers in season.
