A highly valued white grape vine, Vitis vinifera 'Moscotel' is perfect for both beginning and seasoned gardeners who want to enjoy home-grown grapes. This vine, which is an astonishing 5–6 feet tall, not only produces wonderful, sweet grapes, but it also gives any patio or garden a hint of Mediterranean charm.
Moscato wine, which is prized for its sweet, fruity flavours, is usually made from large, aromatic grapes of the 'Moscotel' variety. This vine prefers well-drained soil and becomes even more productive when planted in a sunny spot, which brings out the richness and flavour of the grapes. Combine this vine with other vines or fruit-bearing plants to make a colourful, tasty garden.
