Commonly known as the Japanese rose, ‘Golden Guinea’ is a versatile shrub with an upright habit that is able to produce masses of stunning, buttercup-like golden yellow flowers from March to April. Place ‘Golden Guinea’ in full sun or partial shade and make sure it is planted in fertile, well-drained soil. This shrub is fully hardy so can thrive in both exposed and sheltered areas and can be grown in any soil type or pH.
