Iris 'Superstition'

Product ref: P25764

Availability: Out of stock

The stunning bearded iris 'Superstition' is renowned for its dramatic, velvety blooms that range in colour from deep purple to nearly black. This graceful perennial adds a hint of mystery and refinement to any garden when it blooms in late spring or early summer. Its sword-like, grey-green foliage and tall, robust stems give it a striking architectural presence.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. During the growing season, water frequently, but let the soil dry out in between applications to avoid rot. Once the plant has flowered, cut back the flower stalks, but save the foliage to provide nutrition for the following growing season. For a striking contrast, pair with plants with silvery leaves, such as dusty miller or lamb's ear. Savour 'Superstition's' mesmerising beauty and powerful performance year after year.

Supplied in approx. 1 litre container.
