Iris 'Sangreal'

Beautiful bearded iris variety 'Sangreal' is prized for its sophisticated and refined look. Large, pure white blooms with delicately ruffled edges and a faint hint of creamy yellow at the throat characterise this iris. 'Sangreal', which blooms from late spring to early summer, gives any garden a sense of refinement and purity. Its graceful presence is enhanced by the tall, sturdy stems and sword-like, grey-green foliage.

Plant in full sun to partially shaded, well-drained soil. To stop rot, make sure the rhizomes are slightly exposed. Throughout the growing season, water frequently, letting the soil dry out in between applications. In order to promote ongoing blooming, deadhead spent flowers and trim back foliage in late autumn.
