Iris 'Rimfire'

The captivating bearded iris variety 'Rimfire' is prized for its vivid and dramatic blooms. Large, velvety flowers with rich, slightly ruffled standards in a striking reddish-purple hue and deep burgundy falls surrounded by a contrasting gold edge characterise this exquisite iris. 'Rimfire', which blooms from late spring to early summer, gives any garden a dash of sophistication and vibrant colour. Its architectural appeal is enhanced by the sword-like, grey-green foliage and strong, upright stems.

For optimal flowering, plant in full sun and well-drained soil. To avoid rot, place the rhizomes slightly above the soil's surface. Throughout the growing season, water frequently, letting the soil dry out in between applications. To promote continuous flowering and preserve a tidy appearance, deadhead spent blooms.
