Iris pseudacorus Variegata

A vigorous water loving Iris that looks completely at home in the water of a pond margin.

It is a vigorous plant forming thick clumps of sword shaped leaves that can get up to one and a half metres in height. In mid to late summer large bright yellow flowers with brown throats are produced making for an extremely striking sight.

This is a spreading perennial that loves wet fertile soil and make sure it is allowed space to grow. As an extra bonus this plant is loved by wildlife.
