Iris laevigata 'Snowdrift'

Known as the Japanese Water Iris, Iris laevigata 'Snowdrift' is a gorgeous perennial valued for its delicate, pure white blooms. 'Snowdrift' is a plant that blooms in early to midsummer. Its large, pure flowers stand out against its lush, green, sword-like foliage. This type of iris is ideal for giving ponds, wet garden spaces, and water gardens a sense of refinement and peace.

Plant in full sun to partial shade in rich, moist soil. Since "Snowdrift" grows best in consistently damp environments, planting it next to water features or in marshy places is highly recommended. In particular during dry spells, water the soil frequently to keep it moist. To keep things looking neat, remove spent blooms after they flower. Clumps should be divided every few years to promote vigorous growth and profusion of blooms.
