Iris laevigata 'Mottled Beauty'

Beautiful aquatic perennial Iris laevigata 'Mottled Beauty' is prized for its showy, large blooms and decorative foliage. This variety blooms from late spring to early summer and features stunning deep violet-blue flowers with subtle white mottling. When planted near ponds, water gardens, or damp garden sections, the graceful, sword-like green leaves create a striking vertical accent.

Plant in full sun to partial shade in rich, moist soil. Because "Mottled Beauty" grows best in consistently damp conditions, it can be planted in bog gardens, next to water features, or in shallow water as shallow as 15 cm. Water frequently to maintain soil moisture, particularly in arid periods.
