Iris 'Cimmaron Strip'

Iris 'Cimmaron Strip' is a captivating bearded iris distinguished by its eye-catching colour scheme and graceful shape. Large, ruffled blooms with rich burgundy falls and creamy white standards are the hallmark of this variety, which is further enhanced by a bright orange beard. 'Cimmaron Strip', which blooms from late spring to early summer, gives any garden a dash of drama and sophistication. It has a strong architectural presence thanks to its sturdy stems and sword-like, grey-green foliage.

For best flowering, plant in full sun with well-drained soil. To avoid rot, place the rhizomes slightly below the soil's surface. Throughout the growing season, water frequently, letting the soil dry out in between applications. In order to promote more flowers and keep things looking neat, deadhead spent blooms. In late autumn, trim back the foliage and split clumps.
