Ilex myrtifolia 'Aureomaculata'

This is an incredible variety of holly with striking variegation on the leaves. The leaves are the classic spiky shape with splashes of golden-yellow and lighter greens, creating a really beautiful overall look. The stems grow in purple in the spring and mature into dark green. Small, white flowers cover this plant in the spring and summer.

This versatile plant will grow under practically any conditions: any soil type (that is moist and well-drained), any acidity level and in a garden facing any direction. It will thrive in full sun or partial shade in an exposed or sheltered position.
