Ilex aquifoluim Red Tips - Large circa 100-120cm

Also called the Holly 'Crimson Tips,' Ilex aquifolium 'Red Tips' is a striking evergreen shrub distinguished by its unique juvenile leaves that begin as a brilliant crimson and eventually turn glossy green with a variegated edge. Throughout the year, there has been visual interest due to this stunning colour shift. In addition to producing vibrant red berries in the winter, this traditional holly also adds a festive touch and feeds the local wildlife.

'Red Tips' is adaptable enough to be used as a hedge plant or as a stand-alone specimen in a garden, reaching a height and spread of about 2–3 metres. It grows best in well-drained soil and can tolerate both full and partial shade, though sunnier locations produce the most vibrant leaf colour.
