Hydrangea serrata Magic Pillow

Hydrangea serrata 'Magic Pillow' is a compact, deciduous shrub making it perfect for smaller borders and beds. From July to September, it produces pillow-like foliage covered in charming lacecap flowers that vary from blue to pink, depending on soil pH. Its dark green, serrated leaves transition to rich red and purple hues in autumn, adding seasonal interest. 

Complementary Planting: Pair 'Magic Pillow' with shade-loving perennials like hostas or ferns to create a harmonious understorey. Combining it with other compact hydrangea varieties, such as Hydrangea paniculata 'Little Lime', can extend the flowering season and add textural contrast.

The Hydrangea serrata prefers sheltered, partially shaded areas. Water regularly until plants are fully established.
