Hydrangea serrata Avelroz

This compact, deciduous shrub adds vibrant summer and autumn colour to your garden whilst being low maintenance. A prolific blooming variety, its fertile, bright pink flowers pack a punch in their dense clusters and combine well against the gorgeous purple-red foliage. Providing more interest than your ordinary hydrangea ‘Avelroz’ is excellent as a solitary container plant on a patio or balcony and compliments mixed planting. Like most hydrangeas it is also a great cut flower!

Plant in full-sun or partial-shade for the best colour and make sure your soil is humus rich. This shrub loves moist but well-drained soil and will not fare well in dry or exposed sites.
