With their mysterious looks carnivorous plants make great indoor plants, with the added bonus of being bug traps they are a popular choice - they are sure to be a conversation starter. 

Most carnivorous plants love a sunny position and they do prefer to be kept moist, just be sure the soil is not waterlogged.
