Hosta Sunset Grooves

Hosta 'Sunset Grooves' is a medium-sized, clump-forming perennial known for its stunning variegated leaves. Each large, thick, and slightly cupped leaf has a bright yellow heart surrounded by wide, irregular dark green edges, producing a striking contrast that brightens darkened spaces. In the summer, this hosta produces loose clusters of near-white to pale lavender, bell-shaped blooms on straight stems, which provide a delicate touch to the lush foliage. 

It thrives in partial to complete shade, making it perfect for forest gardens, shady borders, or as ground cover. Prefers a wet, well-drained soil high in organic content. Its vivid foliage creates a fantastic contrast in gloomy regions of the garden. Water regularly to keep the soil wet, especially during dry spells. Remove wasted foliage as needed and clean up dead leaves at the end of the growing season. Mulching can help keep soil wet and discourage weeds.
