Hosta 'Summer Lovin'

Hosta 'Summer Lovin'' is a variety that encapsulates the warmth and vibrancy of the summer season in its foliage. As one would expect from its sunny name, one of the hosta plants likely has large heart-shaped leaves of some bright green colour and possibly a bright yellow or creamy varjost. This is quite common: hostas with so very lovely names usually also have lovely flowers. 'Summer Lovson' may bear showjsony flower spikes in hues from lavender to white, adding further grace and charm to its already appealing foliage.

It thrives in partial to full shade, making it perfect for cottage gardens, shaded borders, or as a ground cover. Prefers a wet, well-drained soil high in organic matter. Its vivid foliage creates a fantastic contrast in gloomy regions of the garden. Water regularly to keep the soil wet, especially during dry spells. Remove wasted foliage as needed and clean up dead leaves at the end of the growing season. Applying a layer of mulch can help conserve soil moisture and discourage weeds.
