Hosta 'Invincible'

Hosta 'Invincible'—very bright, strong variety with outstanding foliage, and truly well-put-together in the hardiness of Hosta for a garden in the shade. Its glossy, deep green leaves are leathery and add to its being invincible from common garden pests, like slugs. The leaves are lance-shaped, which adds to the quite elegant and dynamic form of the whole plant. In later summer, 'Invincible' carries on with its fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white flowers that make for an attractive display seen to good effect and merit its garden value to both sight and smell.
