Characteristic of the plant 'Gentle Shepherd' are its very large, pure white daylily flowers with petals that gently recurve. The flowers sit prettily against its full green foliage, making this plant an easygoing relaxation out of your yard. Blooming from early summer through to midsummer, each flower may only last a day, but the plant produces several buds to ensure a continual appearance of fresh flowers.
