Hedera helix 'Kolibri' - English Ivy

‘Kolibri’ is a stunning delicate small leaved ivy that can provide you with year-round-foliage as well as attracting wildlife. The classic ivy leaves appear a soft heart shape and eventually develop to hold between three to five lobes. This climber’s soft green leaves are irregular splashed with cream and white edges that stand out beautiful against the reddish-brown stems. When mature ‘Kolibri’ will bear clusters of yellow-green flowers in autumn which develop in spherical ball fruit over winter, perfect for attracting wildlife and supporting British birds. Highly versatile this climber works amazingly as a houseplant but also looks great at the back of a mixed border or as ground cover, adding a natural woodland aesthetic to areas. 

Suited to a variety of locations and conditions this ivy can grow in any light aspect from full sun to full shade. It does prefer well drained soil but will also thrive in moist areas and is tolerant to any soil type or pH. Fully hardy it can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens.
