Hamamelis mollis 'Jermyns Gold' - Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is a stunning deciduous shrub perfect for providing your garden with bright winter colour.

‘Jermyns Gold’ is a large, upright shrub that bears strongly sweet-scented golden-yellow flowers in late winter. The flowers have a deep reddish-brown centre that brings out the golden petals even more and help them to stand out against the bear winter stems.

Hamamelis also have broad, oval leaves that turn a beautiful yellow in winter, before they fall. As a unique shrub ‘Jermyns Gold’ is the perfect winter statement piece, equally stunning in solo planting or a mixed border. 

Make sure to plant your Witch hazel in a sheltered area with either full sun or partial shade. This plant prefers to grow in well-drained soils.
