Hamamelis intermedia 'Barmstedt Gold' - Witch Hazel

This beautiful deciduous shrub displays bright yellow blooms on bare stems in winter, providing your garden with much needed colour over the coldest months of the year. These fragrant yellow flowers fill your garden not only with bright colour, but also an amazing scent. Witch Hazel foliage appears in spring and turns a vibrant golden-yellow before it falls off in autumn. Perfect in a garden border or as a specimen in a pot this shrub is very versatile.

Place your Hamamelis in a sheltered spot and make sure it is grown in full sun or partial shade. It requires moist but well-drained soil and is easy to grow.
