Gypsophila repens 'Filou Rose'

Known by most as Creeping Baby's Breath, Gypsophila repens 'Filou Rose' is a delightful perennial with an abundance of small, pink flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. This low-growing plant is ideal for ground cover, borders, and rock gardens because it grows into a dense mat of fine, green foliage. Any garden setting is given a soft, romantic touch by its delicate, airy blooms.

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun. Gypsophila repens 'Filou Rose' grows best in dry, rocky environments and prefers slightly alkaline soil. After it is established, this plant can withstand drought, so water it sparingly and let the soil dry out in between applications. After flowering, trim back to keep the plant looking neat and to promote another flush of blooms.
