Grevillea juniperina

Commonly known as the Juniper-leaf Grevillea this Australian evergreen shrub adds amazing all-year-round interest to your garden and unique foliage. Renowned for its needle-like foliage and vibrant display of red, pink, and orange this shrub blooms from late spring and throughout summer. The foliage is bright green and the leaves are long, thin, almost needle-like, and are held on the upright, spreading branches. Ideal for creating striking contrast in borders, rockeries, or as a low hedge, it’s a versatile plant that compliments a variety of garden styles. Pair it with other drought-tolerant plants like Lavender or Rosemary for a low-maintenance, aromatic, and visually appealing scene. 

This shrub does prefer full sun but will tolerate partial shade. It is hardy and can be grown well in the UK however it should be sheltered from cold winds and harsh areas of winter frost. Make sure to place it in well-drained soil and avoid any alkaline areas.
