Ueno Yama Acers produce sensational blazes of spectacular seasonal colour, starting early in the year as they burst in to leaf they dazzle in bright yellow with a fiery orange edging. Through summer they transition to an attractive bright green that often retains the orange edge. Finally, through autumn the leaves will gradually turn to vivid orange and butter yellow shades. Ueno Yama will form a striking upright specimen with a beautiful branch outline in winter.
Ideal for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden, Acer palmatum Ueno Yama is a rarer variety that is great in generous garden planters, or used in the ground mixed with other shrubs and acers. Supplied at around 100-140cms tall in approx 5 litre containers, these are very well established specimens.
