Fabulous double-flowered trailing variety, Fuchsia 'Southgate' adds an extravagant splash of colour to any arrangement it is placed in. The blooms of 'Southgate' are simply stunning, with gracefully arching sepals in a lighter pink that almost seem to shine, contrasting with large, ruffled skirts in a deep pink to purple tint. Because of these opulent blooms, it's a great option for hanging baskets, containers, and garden walls where its trailing growth habit may be fully appreciated.
Grown in partial to full shade, 'Southgate' is shielded from the intense midday sun, keeping its beautiful blooms fresh and vibrant. The plant needs frequent watering to keep the soil's moisture levels stable. It enjoys a chilly, damp, well-drained soil condition.
