Loved for its flaming and striking blooms, the Fuchsia 'Blaze Away' is a semi-double flame-flowered trailing cultivar. The vivid orange sepals on the flowers' wide, gently ruffled corolla, which ranges in tint from warm apricot to salmon pink, create the illusion that a vibrant display of colour is softly hanging from the branches. Blaze Away is excellent when used in hanging baskets, containers, and garden trellises so that its vibrant trailing blossoms may be fully appreciated.
'Blaze Away' needs cool, moist, well-drained soil and is best planted in partial to full shade to prevent the brilliant colours from fading. To keep the soil moist but not soggy, regular irrigation is necessary, especially in the dry seasons.Â
