Fuchsia Maori Maid

The beautiful Fuchsia 'Maori Maid' cultivar is well known for its exquisitely distinctive flowers. This plant produces a stunning display of lovely double blooms with vivid red sepals and deep purple skirts that hang gently from the branches. It's a common option for garden beds, hanging baskets, and containers where the cascading flowers may be observed up close.

'Maori Maid' is best planted in partly shaded spots and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It needs protection from the hot afternoon sun to avoid scorching, and it likes colder weather. Its overall health and flowering will be improved by regular feeding and watering with a high-potash fertiliser during the growing season. Deadheading spent blooms will maintain the plant's neat appearance and promote more blossoming.
