Fothergilla Major

Fothergilla Major is a gorgeous, compact shrub perfect for smaller gardens. It has glossy green leaves that turn bright red and orange in the autumn. In the spring and summer this plant produces displays of white flowers in short spikes that can emerge before or after the spring leaves. This shrub could be grown on its own in a smaller garden, in a pot on a patio or mixed in with other shrubs in a border. However you use it, this is a great addition to a garden. 

Grow this plant in moist, well-drained soil. It will tolerate most acidic soils but avoid chalk. It will thrive in full sun or partial shade.
