Availability: In stock
Ficus ‘Blanca Gote de Mail’, commonly known as the Honey Drop Fig, is a highly coveted variety prized for its sweet, honey-like flavour. This fig tree produces luscious, greenish-yellow fruits with a succulent, amber flesh that ripens in late summer to early autumn. Its delightful taste and soft texture make it a favourite among fruit enthusiasts and gardeners alike. Whilst they are grown as a commercial crop in Spain and are loved for their fruit, they are also perfect as an ornamental with beautiful bright green, lobed leaves. Complement the Honey Drop Fig with other Mediterranean plants like lavender and rosemary to create a sensory rich garden oasis.Â

Make sure to place this fig full sun although it will tolerate partial shade. It prefers moist but well drained soil and can tolerate poor soils. Make sure to shelter from cold winter winds.Â
