This variety of Fig, Ficus carica 'Goutte d'Or', meaning 'drop of gold' in French, is one you'll certainly want in your collection. The name is very apt as this figs fruits have a drop of golden colour on their skin when they're ripe enough to pick and enjoy. Not only is it an unusual variety, it's also very tasty.
Goutte d'or is very tough, hardy and easy to grow as with all our Fig Trees. Grow in the garden or a roomy patio planter.
