There are no nets on any of our food because birds and other wildlife can get trapped in them. Sand, Sawdust and even cement - or so we've heard - have crept in to cheap and cheerful 'fat' balls that are said to be found in many discount stores and on large online market places - often with fancy marketing labels that fool the unsuspecting in to thinking they're something special using terms such as 'select' or 'super' - they seem a bargain - but these cheap and nasty fillers put off even the least fussy of beaks - right when the birds often need help the most. We wouldn't eat any of those things, and nor would we choose to feed such things to our pets - so why would we even consider it for the birds in the garden? Quite simply - we don't - we believe in value for money and run a lean business so we can keep our prices keen, but will never compromise on ingredients and quality of our wild bird food. We want the birds to benefit and enjoy our Superior Suet Balls, so you won't find any rubbish in these, in fact we've researched the formulas closely and gone for one that we believe is just as good, if not better than what the RSPB use! We're confident the wild birds in your garden will love these and you'll make these a regular purchase to keep them as continual visitors.
This box contains 50 premium quality suet balls made to our own unique recipe which includes the finest grade of high-energy suet, sunflower seeds and multi-grains, plus, and this is where they differ considerably to many 'endorsed' products on the market - insects & mealworms for additional protein - thus appealing to the widest range of species possible, and making them particularly suitable for use in the breeding season too. They are perfect for feeding from one of our very own suet fat ball feeders, or your existing ones, or simply of course loose, whole or crumbled, on bird tables and ground feeding tables.
