These Euonymous are one of the most versatile and least demanding evergreen shrubs, happy in full sun or fairly deep shade and in dry soils. There are many varieties of both green and variegated types, all worth growing. The leaves of many varieties also take on pink tints during winter.
They'll make an excellent specimen shrub or can even be used for a hedge - absolutely superb planted in groups for winter colour throughout the garden or used in patio containers
