Eriostemon 'White Star' - Wax Flower

Commonly known as the Wax Flower, Eriostemon ‘White Star’ is a captivating addition to any garden, celebrated for its star-shaped, pristine white blooms that exude a delightful fragrance. This evergreen shrub is absolutely smothered in these sweet scented blooms from early spring all the way through summer, and are highly attractive to pollinators. ‘White Star’s glossy, dark foliage remains all-year-round emitting a lemony scent when touched and providing a beautiful contrast to the flowers, enhancing its seasonal appeal. Eriostemon has an upright, spreading habit with an ultimate height of 3 metres and spread of 2 metres making it ideal for use within a mixed border. This plant does best in full sun but will tolerate some levels of shade. ‘White Star’ prefers well-drained soil and can thrive in dry areas. A half hardy shrub it can grow in exposed or sheltered gardens but should be protected from cold winter winds.
