Eremurus x isabellinus 'Shelford Hybrids'

Eremurus x isabellinus 'Shelford Hybrids', also known as Foxtail Lilies, are spectacular perennials that make a dramatic statement with their tall, tapering spires of starry flowers. Blooming from early to mid-summer, these hybrids offer a stunning mix of warm shades, creamy yellow, apricot, peach, and soft orange, rising above slender green foliage on statuesque stems that can reach up to 1.5 metres tall. Their architectural form adds bold vertical interest to borders and makes them superb for cutting gardens.

Best planted in full sun and in well-drained soil, particularly sandy or gravelly conditions. Eremurus dislike winter wet and benefit from being planted on a slight mound or with added drainage beneath their crowns. Ideal for mixed borders, prairie-style planting, or back-of-border impact. Pair with ornamental grasses, alliums, or Achillea for a stunning, textural summer display. Mulch in spring and avoid disturbing once established for the best flowering results.
