Vibrant Echinacea Sombrero Salsa Red produces softly fragrant, spicy orange-red blossoms with an orange-brown cone. The petals overlap, giving the flowers a fuller, more polished look. and they are freely produced from early through to late summer on very well-branched, sturdy plants, they are absolutely loaded with buds for a vibrant show of colour.
Praised for their cheerful brightly coloured flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in a modern summer garden or prairie style planting. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter, and a food source for garden birds too. Drought tolerant once established, they will grow well in any well drained soil.
Perfect for the summer border or patio container with the abundance of vibrant hot red large, daisy-like flowers, each plant will reach around 45-50cm, butterflies love them too. Supplied in approx 1-2 litre containers.
