'Tendergreen' beans are a favourite among cooks and gardeners alike because of their rich, buttery flavour and smooth texture.
The dwarf French bean 'Tendergreen' requires very simple cultivation. It likes bright, well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Because it is a dwarf cultivar, it can be grown in pots or in smaller gardens without staking. To encourage constant production of beans, regular irrigation is essential particularly throughout the flowering and pod-development stages of the plant.
